Our Story: Before founding Thousand, I was an avid cyclist who never wore a helmet. Tragically, the loss of a friend in a fatal bike accident compelled me to rethink safety. Frustrated by the "sci-fi" appearance of most helmets, I decided to create one that people would actually want to wear. We named our company “Thousand” with the ambition of saving 1,000 lives by promoting helmet use. Our name serves as a daily reminder of our mission.
